The Art Complex Museum is a contemporary structure of glass and wood on over 13 acres of open fields and woodlands. It serves as a center for regional arts and for the collections of the Carl A. Weyerhaeuser family. Exhibitions offer much variety including contemporary artists, group and traveling shows and works from the collection, known for its strengths in Shaker furniture, prints, American paintings, and Asian art.

The Plymouth Center for the Arts is home to the offices, galleries, and classrooms of the Plymouth Guild for the Arts as well as the offices of the Plymouth Philharmonic and the Plymouth Community Theatre. Other groups have used the building: poets, garden clubs, private parties, and town-wide organizations.

The Plymouth Guild offers changing exhibitions of 2-D and 3-D art and fine crafts in their galleries. It also offers art classes six times each year for adults, teens, and children.

The Plymouth Center for the Arts is now open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m.

During the summer months the building may be open later on weekend evenings. During fall and winter months some hours may be curtailed. Call the Center at 508-746-7222 for the latest information.

The Center for the Arts is always open when the banners are flying in front of the building.
