Held in the tea hut situated in a Japanese garden on the museum grounds. Shofuan, the "Wind in The Pines Hut" was built in Kyoto Japan in 1969 and reassembled here in 1975. Shofuan is a traditional san jo daime (3 & 3/4 size) hut. Japanese huts are described by the number of mats they accommodate.

Promoting local talent, the concerts are manned by volunteers and free to the public. These family-oriented events attract hundreds of residents and visitors throughout the region. Concerts will be held each Thursday evening in August at Buzzards Bay Park at The Gazebo.

Pilgrim Progress

Begins at the Mayflower Society House off North Street in Plymouth. Each of the 51 participants in the Pilgrim Progress portrays a specific survivor of Plymouth Colony's first winter in 1620-1621, following the arrival of the Mayflower. The Progress re-enacts the group's assembly and march to worship on Burial Hill.

On August 1, 8, 22 & 29 ewe and the kids are invited to wake up with Plimoth Plantation's Rare Breed animals including Kerry and Milking Devon cows, Arapawa goats, Wiltshire sheep, and Red Dorking chickens. Help museum staff feed the kids, collect eggs, and brush the cows. When the chores are done, enjoy a simple breakfast.
