Museum to Host Annual Meeting
Museum members and friends are invited to share in a special morning celebrating the Hull Lifesaving Museum’s achievements and plans. With the help of the Point Allerton U.S. Coast Guard Color Guard, we begin by laying flowers at Joshua James’s gravesite in Hull cemetery adjacent to the museum, then place a Coast Guard flag at each headstone of the Lifesavers and Coast Guardsmen buried in Hull cemetery. This has become a very special tradition in Hull, and we encourage people of all ages to meet at Hull cemetery at 10 am for this memorable half hour. We follow with a delicious, very informal brunch at the Museum and the election of our Board of Directors, and end the morning with a brief review of highlights of the past year.
