Just outside the Regional Center building on Route 3A in Marshfield, a path leads to a riverside boardwalk trail and a woodland trail allowing for easy hikes at this 184-acre sanctuary on the North River.
Directions: Sanctuary entrance is on Route 3A, 1.5 miles south of the intersection of Route 123 and 3A; or 4.6 miles north of the intersection of 139 and 3A.

Daniel Webster Wildlife Sanctuary, Marshfield
The 507 acres of Daniel Webster Wildlife Sanctuary in Marshfield consist of more than 400 acres of grasslands and about 100 acres of mixed woodlands and wetlands. The sanctuary is surrounded by conservation land and other protected areas. Observation blinds overlook a wildlife impoundment.

Directions: Route 139 to Webster Street, in Marshfield, to Winslow Cemetery Road. Follow to end of road.

North Hill Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, Duxbury
North Hill Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, covering 134 acres in Duxbury, includes an oak forest, a marsh, and a 90-acre lake, prime habitat for migratory waterfowl and nesting birds.

Directions: Sanctuary parking lot is located on Mayflower Street, in Duxbury, 1.3 miles west of intersection with Route 3A.
