Converse with a Caterpillar! Follow the White Rabbit and be a guest at a Mad Tea Party! The Queen of Hearts has kept strict rule over her subjects, and it’s up to YOU to make a difference! Adventure with Alice as she helps the creatures of Wonderland save their home and restore their land to a place of peace and harmony.

Thursday Plymouth Farmers’ Market

The traditional cowbell will open the original Plymouth market from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Thursday through October on the grassy field adjacent to the River Street museum entrance, rain or shine. Summer through fall, Plymouth Farmers’ Market is active with its music series, storytellers, community partners and food literacy demonstrations. The market presents regional farmers who provide their own fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables, eggs and dairy cheese, freshly caught lobsters, grass-fed meats, herbs, honey, cut flowers and plants.

Pilgrim Progress

Pilgrim Progress, held on the first four fridays during the month of August, is a unique cultural tradition in Plymouth. Local citizens and their guests from all walks of life organize and dress as Pilgrims and re-create the Pilgrims' procession to church. The number of persons, their sexes and ages are matched to the small group of Pilgrims who survived the first winter in the New World. Their procession begins at the Mayflower Society House on North Street, moving down Water Street (passing Plymouth Rock), up Leyden Street to Town Square, then up to Burial Hill.

Paddling our rivers and bays gives us a whole new perspective as we experience our communities.
