The Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC), a volunteer, not-for-profit choral group is welcoming men throughout the region to join them for the second half of their 2007-08 season.. The PFC is an auditioned singing group for men and women, with vocalists of all skill levels, dedicated to the performance of choral music from many genres.  In their ninth season, the group typically offers three major choral performances during each year.  The PFC currently holds the privilege as guest chorus for the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra's Holiday Pops program.

This February, Pilgrim Hall Museum will be closed for much-needed renovations. So, we're taking Kids Week "on the road" - to the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor! Introduce your child (or grandchild) to their American heritage through family activities with an historic theme.
Staff and volunteers from Pilgrim Hall Museum will be presenting
colonial crafts for families daily at the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor. Write with a quill pen, embroider a sampler square, draw a self-portrait, weave a mat, and more. There is no charge for Plymouth residents, members of the Pilgrim Society, or guests of the Radisson (plus, they have a great swimming pool!). All others are welcome, at a charge of $5 for adults. Children are free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Girls' Night Out - POLAROID TRANSFER
6-9pm
Learn an image transfer process utilizing Polaroid film to transfer images from 35mm slides or small objects to watercolor paper. Images take on distinctly different characteristics inherent in the process and can be distorted with manipulation. Students will complete 4-6 image transfers which will be unique works of art in themselves or can be used in collage, book arts, or to construct lampshades. Bring approximately 10 35mm slides (which will not be harmed during the process) or small objects, (3” or 4” max), such as seashells, buttons, fabric scraps. You will also receive handouts with information relevant to this process in this workshop. Mem/$40 & Non-Mem/$55 and all materials are included.

Learn to see and  paint from life in this beginning to intermediate oil painting class. You will study color mixing, paint application, value, and composition of the picture space. Improve your powers of observation and drawing while painting from still life and landscape.
