This is a 2 class activity with Class 2 held on Saturday, January 17. Students will learn how to be creative with the basic components, by making pinch and slab built tea pots. Texture and form as well as functional and non-functional forms will be discussed. They may transform the teapot into an animal, a house or abstracted shapes. This course for ages 16+ will be held on Mondays starting January 12 through February 23 with no classes on 1/19 & 2/16. Learn through demonstrations and group critiques the fundamentals of pastel painting and basic drawing skills that emphasize color values to depict distance, create harmony and illustrate bold contrast.
