Heritage Museum and Gardens
Heritage Museums & Gardens will open its garden spaces to the public as part of Phase I on Saturday, May 30th. Public restrooms that are accessible directly from the outdoors will be open, and The Shop at Heritage will be open for curbside pickup. Please make sure to buy your tickets online Here, ahead of time! Members do not need to do so. Practice social distancing - Wear a face covering or mask - Stay vigilant and stay home if you are feeling unwell. We are selling tickets this way for two reasons: 1) to make admission to Heritage as contact-less as possible, and 2) to follow state guidelines that require the ability for contact tracing and to institute capacity limits on the grounds. Please note that your ticket will be for a specific day, but not for a specific time. Also, note that all visitors, including Members, must check in at the Admissions Booth to have their ticket or membership card scanned.
Heritage Museums & Gardens offers 100 spectacular acres of trees and shrubs, designed gardens, exquisite flowers and sweeping lawns. The gardens are a delight any time of year. Spring features showy Dexter Rhododendrons and flowering trees, while summer boasts brilliant hydrangeas and dazzling daylilies. Autumn highlights blazing foliage and the fall-blooming Franklinia. Winter showcases beautiful heathers, bright berries and noble evergreen.
Heritage offers many excellent garden-related workshops, lectures and activities throughout the year. For more information on workshops, lectures and activities, visit the weblink.
