We are Los Jefes. We are Nikki, Eduardo and Mike. Family. Partners and Owners of Los Jefes: A Betta Bar & Grille. Los Jefes (pronounced los HAY face) means the bosses in Spanish. The menu is a collaboration of our cultural backgrounds. Using Nikki's creative approach to American cuisine, Eduardo's authentic hand-pressed tortillas and use of Mexican spices and Mike's traditional Cape Verdean family recipes Los Jefes has created some unique and diverse specialties.
Our goal is to create innovate flavors that are delicious and approachable using seasonal, local products. The idea behind our menu is based around our childhoods. Growing up in homes where food was made with love and ingredients were treated with respect has fueled our passion to create an amazing dining experience.
Some of our creative specials have included Chicken Tamal with Salsa Verde, Cotija and Pea Shoots, and Curried Chicken, Rice, & Fried Sweet Plantains. A new Fall Addition to our #tacotuesday menu is Carne Asada-Tender marinated grilled steak, crispy cabbage, fresh pico.
