Wind and water inspire artists to create unique public art, paint stunning scenes, and even design sustainable fabrics. This AHA! Night, as we celebrate Wind & Water, we’re highlighting two very different types of coastal artistry:
Sustainable Fabrics: AHA! Night kicks off our Design No. Five Trunk Show
Design No. Five creates stunning, sustainable fabrics inspired by local sea life. Hand-drawn sketches of mermaid’s purses, seaweed, and horseshoe crabs transformed into their unique, coastal fabric collection. Pillows and fabric by the yard come in bold colors, using eco-friendly ink printed on 100% Belgian linen. Come see, touch, and feel this beautiful fabric!

Plus, at 4:30 pm, meet Beth Odence of Design No. Five. She’ll be speaking about The Art of Sustainable Fabrics. Drop by to learn more about how design can be eco-friendly, stylish, and beachy. It’s a magical combination that embraces the essence of coastal living.

Also, at 6pm, Fractured Light with Michele Poirier-Mozzone - Demonstration & Talk
This AHA! Night, meet Michele Poirier-Mozzone. She will be demonstrating her process and speaking about her underwater series, “Fractured Light” where she explores the beauty and distortion of water, sunlight, memories, and the human figure. Come hear about her work and how she captures perfect summer moments in her pastel paintings.
