Our plan for this paddle is to ride the tide up the river, stopping at Couch's Beach for a Spring themed picnic before a tide change and return trip to the Union Street Canoe Launch. We will paddle past one of Mass Audubon's least known properties and survey its inhabitants. We will provide all kayaking equipment as well as the picnic.

Explore the many corners of the North River Wildlife Sanctuary with a teacher/naturalist each Saturday afternoon this Spring for FREE. Each 1-hour walk will explore a different nature theme—no two adventures will be alike. Each week we will have a different focus at our Sanctuary. You might find binoculars, or a bug net, or a hand lens in your hand as we hit the trainls. We will not cancel due to inclement weather. We will always have an alternative indoor program if necessary. Registration not required. (Suitable for children ages 2 & up).
