Celebrating the Alden Legacy! 1620-2020

Wednesday, July 29, 2020 to Saturday, August 1, 2020

Enjoy history, kinship and fun as you share the momentous 400th anniversary celebration with Alden family and friends. This four-day reunion features exciting history reenactments;a Pilgrim themed dinner at Plimoth Plantation; history symposium with leading scholars sharing the latest discoveries on Pilgrim archaeology and history; activities for kids; a beer bash; tours of Duxbury's Pilgrim sites; and special behind-the-scenes tours of other Alden & Pilgrim related museums. The reunion ticket includes admission to all programs on Saturday, August 1, (with lunch), a tour of Alden House, the symposium on Thursday, July 30, and a keepsake nametag.

America's Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration & Parade

Friday, November 20, 2020 to Sunday, November 22, 2020

Join the excitement this year at one of the TOP 20 Massachusetts USA Events & Festivals! The festivities begin Friday with Concerts, then with Saturday's Opening Ceremonies at 10:30am on Cole's Hill, and at 11am the Annual Thanksgiving Parade (America's only historically accurate chronological parade), which begins at the corner of Nelson and Court Street. The weekend of festivities has become a beloved holiday occasion as well as an important link to our nation’s history and heritage. For 20 years, hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life have traveled to the historic Plymouth Harbor and Waterfront to experience a bounty of authentic Americana. The celebration of Thanksgiving becomes history-brought-to-life as Pilgrims, Native Americans, Soldiers, Patriots, and Pioneers prdly climb out of the history books and onto the streets of Plymouth.
