Our hour-long Sunday afternoon Family Concert includes so much: performances by The Plymouth Middle Schools Honors Chorus, an award winning emerging artist from South Shore Conservatory, AND the world concert premiere of Antoine Vachon’s Mages of Mystralia, music composed for the high-fantasy video game of the same name. Plus, meet the Phil musicians and their instruments before the show! This is the concert to share with your friends who want to add a little color to their weekend! Special pricing, too - adults $20, children $10. This year’s Family Concert choral component is provided by the 100+ voices of the Plymouth Middle Schools Honors Chorus, co-directed by Jessica Fuller and Lea Tyler.  They perform a stirring rendition of Paul Simon’s Bridge Over Troubled Water and inspiring music composed by Mark A. Miller, I Believe, based on an anonymous Jewish poem.

As with previous Family Concerts, this event is part of the national food drive, Orchestras Feeding America. Audience members are encouraged to bring and contribute non-perishable food items to benefit the Food Warehouse of Greater Plymouth.
