Join Dr. Kimberly Alexander for a fascinating talk about the clothing, fabrics, and accouterments of early New England and their family connections.
Dr. Alexander is a professor of history at the University of New Hampshire and guest curator of the exhibit “Fashioning the New England Family” currently on display at the Massachusetts Historical Society in Boston.  The exhibit features many items that have never been seen by the public and includes a small swatch of fabric with a connection to the famous Mayflower Pilgrim Priscilla Mullins.
Admission is free.  Dr. Alexander's talk is supported in part by a grant from the Duxbury Cultural, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
