Furlow, editor of the Journal of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society and an expert on Mayflower passenger Isaac Allerton, and Pennington, a trailblazing Texas attorney and advocate for women in the law, are keen investigators of the colonial world of the Pilgrims.
