Explore the world of 17th century Plymouth Colony and the daily lives of the Pilgrims in this fascinating talk about new research on local ceramic artifacts on Thursday, October 10, at 7 pm at the Alden House Historic Site. UMass-Boston graduate student Elizabeth Tarulis will share her research from three local sites – the Alden First Site, Allerton/Prence Cushman and recently discovered site at Burial Hill in downtown Plymouth.
These ceramics came from a variety of countries across the globe, from England to China, providing valuable insight into the trade networks which colonists used to buy their goods and the global factors which may have impacted them.
The talk is free and open to the public.  Reservations are suggested as space is limited.
