History enthusiasts are encouraged to join us for an engaging discussion of important topics of the past at our History Book Group.  The group meets one Thursday per month at 4p.m. to discuss the month’s selection.  For this meeting, the group is talking about HOW THE LADIES OF THE HARVARD OBSERVATORY TOOK THE MEASURE OF THE STARS RaduFRadium Girls: The Dark Story of America’s Shining Women by Kate Moore.  Moore’s book chronicles the disastrous ways in which young women were affected by their work with radioactive materials.

For more information about this event, email, call or visit the weblink. The library is fully accessible; please let us know if you need special accommodations to attend.
