Thursday, December 14, 2017 - 7:00pm

Do you love reading classics?  Have you been looking for a book discussion group to join? We read and discuss novels from the twentieth century and earlier, focusing on novels and authors that have stood the test of time. Some of the classics we read are popular while others are more unconventional and unfamiliar.

Our next meeting is Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Manomet Branch Library, 12 Strand Avenue, with a discussion of the second half of Lila: An Inquiry into Morals by Robert M. Pirsig. Lila, a philosophical story of the relationship between Phaedrus and Lila during a sail down the Hudson River, was a finalist for the Pulitzer in 1992. Copies of the book are available to check out at the Manomet Branch.

The program is free and requires no registration. For more information about this event, contact the Manomet Branch Librarian at (508) 830-4185, email to jenniferj@ocln.org or visit the library’s web site, www.plymouthpubliclibrary.org, for a complete list of events.  The library is fully accessible; please let us know if you need special accommodations to attend.
