MBTA Commuter Rail
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) offers year-round commuter rail service from Boston (South Station) to the Town of Plymouth (Cordage Park) and Kingston (near the Kingston Collection Mall).
- Plymouth County towns of Brockton, Bridgewater, Middleborough and Lakeville can be accessed using the Middleborough/Lakeville Line.
- Plymouth County towns of Hingham, Cohasset and N. Scituate can be accessed using the Greenbush Line.
- Plymouth County towns of Abington, Whitman, Hanson, Halifax and Kingston can be accessed using the Kingston/Plymouth Line

Enjoy a car-free visit to Plymouth County by catching the CapeFLYER weekend train, available Memorial Day through Labor Day on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Ride comfortably from Boston’s South Station, hopping off at the Brockton, Middleboro/Lakeville, Wareham Village or Buzzards Bay stops to explore Plymouth County.
